Carolina Foundation Solutions, LLC, North Carolina's Foundation Repair and Shoring Contractor specialists, installs a helical pier foundation system designed to solve many structural problems caused by:
- unstable soil
- to temporarly support footings prior to additions
- to allow for additional capacities when building up.
LIFTING AND STABILIZING STRUCTURES
Helical piers are drilled into the ground until they reach load bearing soil, insuring that the structure is supported by solid subgrade. The exact capacity of each pier can be determined by the installation torque in the field, providing for an effective, efficient and permanent repair. The existing foundation is then under-pinned with heavy duty steel brackets that rest on the helical piers. Finally, hydraulic jacks are mounted on top of the brackets and the structure is lifted and secured.
